Actions ERIKS related to the current geopolitical situation in the Middle East

The current geopolitical situation in the Middle East is creating pressure on global supply chains, transport markets, raw material costs and availability. We would like to share an update on the actions ERIKS is taking to reduce this impact and how we can work together to minimize disruption for you as a customer.

What we experience

Based on current developments, we see:

  • upwards pressure on raw material, energy and logistics costs;
  • potential extensions or variability in lead times depending on sourcing and routing.

What we have done to minimize the impact

Our priority remains continuity of supply and minimizing disruption for our customers. We:

  • have increased our buffer stocks over the last weeks;
  • are closely monitoring market and supply chain developments;
  • will communicate proactively on any relevant changes;
  • will provide early notice of any adjustments impacting your business.

What we need from you, in partnership, to support continuity

In the current environment, collaboration is key. Therefore we encourage:

  • timely orders and confirmations;
  • sharing of forecasts where possible.

We will keep you informed as the situation evolves. Should you have any questions or wish to discuss the impact on your specific products or agreements, please do not hesitate to contact your ERIKS representative.
