Semi-round file, tapering point, with tang.

General information:
An appropriate steel microstructure, essential for uniform hardness. Type and angle of the cut are determined by the particular application, whereby one differentiates between cut 1 –for rough machining, cut 2 –half smooth/universal and cut 3 –finishing . Ideal tooth geometry for each application. The length of the file is measured without the tang from the tip to the attachment.

Design: DIN 7261, Form E, half round and hewn on 2 sides.

Application: Suitable for processing radii, deburring as well as filing perforations. Can also be used for surface machining.
