The ERIKS oil seal type RST is a standard design with a rubber outer jacket according to DIN 3760-A. The difference relative to the ERIKS oil seal type R is that the type RST features an additional dust lip, which offers effective protection against light to moderate contamination from the outside.

You can use the oil seal type RST in a wide range of applications in most industries. The rubber outer jacket ensures a reliable seal in the housing bore (static side) - remaining effective if the surface is rougher than normal, when thermal expansion takes place and when used in split housings.
