The ERIKS Oil seal type R is a standard design with a rubber outer jacket according to DIN 3760-A. This product is widely applicable in many different industries. The rubber outer jacket ensures a reliable seal in the housing bore (static side) - remaining effective if the surface is rougher than normal, when thermal expansion takes place and when used in split housings. As a result, this oil seal is also suitable for sealing low-viscosity and gaseous media.
