Tooth design: Teeth ground, side clearance side set: Blade for clean, fast cuts in wood. Tooth pitch: Large tooth pitch for coarser cuts coupled with fast work progress in soft and/or thick material such as wood and plastic. Application: For wood with nails/metal, wood with steel elements, cast steel pipes, GRP/Epoxy. Application: Saw blades are subject to high mechanical and thermal loads. For this reason, the use of specific coolants, e.g. cutting oil (for steel, metals), turpentine (for aluminium) or water (for plastics, Perspex etc.), is recommended in order to extend the wear-resistance of the saw blade.
