We commit to Science-Based Climate Target Setting

At ERIKS, our mission is clear: Improving the performance of industrial processes and products

Industrial companies today face growing demands around efficiency, reliability, sustainability, and compliance. To remain competitive and create long-term value, they must continuously improve the performance of their processes, products, and operations.

To support this ambition, ERIKS has committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), the globally recognised framework that helps organisations align greenhouse gas reduction targets with the latest climate science.

This commitment is an important milestone in our sustainability journey and reinforces our focus on continuously improving the performance of our business, our operations, and the value we create for customers.

Turning ambition into measurable action

As industrial component experts, we help customers improve the performance of their processes and products through engineering expertise, application knowledge, manufacturing, assembly, and supply chain solutions.

Increasingly, these performance challenges also include sustainability objectives. Customers are looking for ways to reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, lower emissions, and strengthen the resilience of their operations without compromising reliability or productivity.

Our SBTi commitment reflects the same mindset within ERIKS. By developing science-based greenhouse gas reduction targets, we are creating a clear and measurable framework to reduce emissions across our operations and value chain while continuing to drive operational excellence.

"Developing science-based targets is an important step in translating our sustainability ambitions into measurable action. A clear, science-based framework helps us identify opportunities to reduce emissions, strengthen our operational performance, and support our customers as they work towards a lower-carbon future."

Building long-term value

As part of the SBTi process, ERIKS will establish greenhouse gas reduction targets aligned with climate science and supported by a robust implementation plan.

This work will help us gain deeper insight into our environmental impact, identify opportunities for improvement, and further integrate sustainability into the way we operate and create value.

For our customers, suppliers, business partners, and investors, this commitment demonstrates our focus on responsible growth, transparency, and long-term resilience.

No single company can solve climate change alone, but every company has a responsibility to understand its impact and take action where it can. I am proud that ERIKS has chosen to take this step and build climate targets on a robust scientific foundation.

Making industry perform better

The transition to a lower-carbon economy requires collaboration across entire value chains. By committing to the SBTi, ERIKS joins a global community of organisations working to combine business performance with meaningful climate action.

Together with our customers, suppliers, and partners, we will continue to improve performance, reduce environmental impact, and contribute to a stronger and more sustainable industrial future.
