ERIKS through its subsidiary Rawson, Inc. has acquired Regal-Brown, Inc., an Alabama based manufacturers’ representative for instrumentation, filtration, analytical, and valve products. The acquisition was closed on December 31, 2012. Regal-Brown, Inc. will continue to operate under that name, as it has since its founding in 1988, serving customers throughout the states of Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida. This acquisition expands Rawson’s coverage and gives them access to the strong markets in the southeast of the USA.
Founded in Houston in 1954, Rawson is the prominent distributor of instrumentation and valve products in the Gulf Coast area of the United States and Mexico, which includes locations in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana with an additional branch in Mexico City. Rawson represents many of the top tier manufacturers of valve and instrumentation products throughout its coverage area in addition to providing engineering and technical support to its very broad customer base.
