Featured services and cases
The Maeslant barrier and ERIKS
The Maeslant barrier features the largest movable parts in the world. It's the last of the 13 famous Dutch Delta Works that were built to protect 2 million inhabitants from the stormy North Sea.
Each door of the structure is fitted with 26 Econ butterfly valves with actuators regulating the flow of water. Following twenty years of excellent service, ERIKS Flow Control and TNO Research Institute are currently replacing these valves.
Our partnership with Delft Hyperloop
Creating the future by reinventing the wheel
Innovating on the edge of what is possible. That's what ERIKS has been doing for a year in an intensive partnership with 38 students from the Delft University of Technology. Together, they designed and built a pod with the aim to win the annual Hyperloop competition, organized by Elon Musk’s space transport company SpaceX in California.
We wrote a whitepaper on the partnership explaining how we supported the Delft Hyperloop team in the design and creation of their pod.
