Design: Solid carbide NANO,type H, according to company standard, with centre cut.
Cutting speed approx. 50% higher than with non-coated tools. Dry machining possible.
Application: Can be used for slot cutting. Is also suitable for milling deep grooves thanks to the offset shaft. For large milling depths of up to 3 x D.With corner radius to avoid notching effects on the workpiece ?less corner wear during plunge cutting and slot cutting. The 45° spiral results in a soft and peeling cut and thus a high surface quality. Burr formation on the cutting edges is avoided. Suitable for HSC machining up to 70 HRC.
